Holiday Drinks 2014

“What are the hot drinks this 2014 Holiday season?”

If this is a question you have been asking yourself,

then we would like to answer it

with a few favorites we have found.

The following drinks are taking a stand this holiday season. They will be fighting for first place on your lovely coffee tables, filling those empty cup holders in your car, warming cold hands while shopping, or just bringing a conversation to life while snuggling in a comfy chair at your local coffee shop.

Drum roll…

From your local Starbucks is the Gingerbread Latte…I love their holiday drinks.

A drink made in your own kitchen with your favorite espresso is the Creamy Peppermint Coffee…yum!

A fun new “Adult” Coffee drink courtesy of Food Network is the Dressed up Irish Coffee…Trying it.

An exciting post by a fellow blogger has a Pumpkin Spiced Latte to share…Very cool site as well.

A non coffee but delicious drink this time of year is the Candy Cane Cocoa…Great for the kids too!

Saving the best for last, because we all want to be on the Island this time of year…

Caribbean Coffee

  • 1/4 cup of Jamaican Blue Mountain® Coffee
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 cup of ice cream
  • 1/4 cup of whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp. of dark rum
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • Brew the 2 cups of water with the 1/4-cup of Jamaican Blue Mountain® Coffee
  • Add sugar
  • Chill in the refrigerator
  • Put the chilled coffee, ice cream, whipped cream and dark rum into a blender and blend
  • Pour into a glass
  • Sprinkle the top with chocolate sprinkles and serve

I would say this drink could be made hot or cold 🙂

I have some of this coffee here at my house and on our “Spoiled Weekends” we fire up our espresso maker and brew some “Oh so Delightful” Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee.  It is my favorite coffee by far.

We hope you found some inspiration today and are ready to treat your mouth

with some decadent drinks this 2014 Holiday Season.

Happy Holiday’s to All!

We would like to wish all of our followers and fellow bloggers a very Happy Holiday Season and a Happy New year!  May all your Journey’s be safe, your laughter be great, and your families be greatly blessed!

I would like to encourage each and every one of you to a challenge this holiday season and beyond.

PAY IT FORWARD! There are many ways to make someone’s day or even year. I have done this as much as I can afford and it is very rewarding to know that someone will be pleasantly surprised when their coffee if paid for by the person ahead of them. 🙂 I do it a lot when I go to drive through coffee huts. Even if it is only $1 or $2. 🙂 It is the selfless thought that counts. Our society could benefit a great if we all did this at least once a month, more often if your pocket-book can handle it.   I like to put myself in their shoes, there have been so many days when I have been stressed out, sad, crying, and in need of coffee and comfort. So I PAY IT FORWARD, as often as I can. Even though I have never been a recipient of this generosity I know that it is not the reason I do it. It is for that man or woman or teenager who may have just had the worst day, or needed to feel as if they were cared for by someone they didn’t even know…..

So I encourage you all……feel the joy of Paying it Forward….I know you will be happy with the results. Feel free to share your stories of receiving or giving selflessly this Year. 🙂   We would love to hear your stories.

May all your wishes, prayers, and dreams come true.
